The protein nanoengineering group
Welcome to Dr. Won Min Park's Laboratory in the Tim Taylor Department of Chemical Engineering at Kansas State University. Our interdisciplinary team of engineers and scientists is focused on advancing the fields of protein nanomaterials and synthetic nanobiology. Our mission is to tackle engineering challenges in biological systems by developing next-generation nanoscale protein materials and tools with unique structural, physical, and biological properties, along with genetically programmable functions. We accomplish this by combining experimental and computational methods to engineer cutting-edge, protein-based technologies.
